Ron „Metal Cowboy“ Keel is rocking it. So proud to review Rons masterpiece Metal Cowboy. The album contains eleven rocking tunes – Mr. Keel is also doing a duet with Paul Shortino as well as the Seven City Sinners are featured on the track named 3 Chord Drinkin`Song.
Mostly all CD releases were compared to other bands and singers that they sound similar to. This time I have to say the release reminds me on Lessmann & Ziller and their album called „GLAUB DRAN“ from the year 1993. By the way it would be an awesome choice to see Ron with Claus and Hans (Bonfire) on one stage – that would be a perfect fit.
A powerful release with country elemets. My fave song is the ballad Singers, Hookers & Thieves the song with Paul Shortino – they both rocking it togehter big time. This song reminds me on a typical Jon Bon Jovi and Richie Sambora ballad a la „Ride Cowboy Ride“. I bet you know this one and agree to this!?
For all metal cowboys you`d better buy your copy now. A groovy and blusey album which is worth every dollar/euro.
